Compensation: Base salary up to $90,000 (depending on experience) plus a 10% annual target bonus.

Summary:
As a Lean Continuous Improvement Professional, you will drive Lean projects aligned with our Operational Excellence goals, focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives. Working in a fully automated distribution center with systems like Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), conveyors, scanning zones, and PLCs, you will utilize Lean tools and methodologies to continuously improve processes, reduce waste, and facilitate Kaizen events. The ideal candidate will have experience with value-stream mapping, Kaizen facilitation, and leading Gemba Walks in an automated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation of Lean principles and tools across a fully automated facility to drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency.

Facilitate cross-functional Kaizen events to identify and eliminate workflow bottlenecks and non-value-added activities, optimizing the use of ASRS, conveyors, scanning zones, and other automated systems.

Collaborate with global Lean Leaders to share best practices, ensuring consistency and alignment with company-wide Lean transformation efforts.

Provide Lean training to associates at all levels, promoting the use of Lean tools to enhance day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, automated environment.

Work closely with operations teams to plan and execute Lean transformation projects, ensuring effective resource allocation and alignment with business objectives.

Establish and track key operational metrics (safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity) to measure the impact of Lean initiatives and ensure continuous improvement.

Conduct Gemba Walks, value-stream mapping, and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement sustainable solutions in the automated system environment.

Act as a change agent, driving a culture of continuous improvement, and influencing teams to adopt Lean methodologies.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Lean tools such as value-stream mapping, root cause analysis, and Kaizen event facilitation.

High competency in systems and data analysis, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Experience with Lean methodologies in a fully automated distribution or manufacturing environment.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-volume distribution or fulfillment, with a strong emphasis on Lean methodologies.

Proven experience facilitating Kaizen events, conducting value-stream mapping, and leading Gemba Walks.

Demonstrated ability to implement Lean improvements in automated systems (e.g., ASRS, conveyors, PLCs).

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $60,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
