Job Description

Start Date: January 2025

Rockwell Automation's Early Career Rotational Program is a 2-year program with multiple tracks that provides associates with the tools needed to begin developing their leadership and innovation skills within a global company.

As an associate on the Professional Services Track you will…

Participate in many learning experiences including formal classroom training, leadership development, mentoring, career planning, networking, and exposure to Rockwell Automation's global engineering teams and businesses. Directly contribute to business-critical projects and tasks, which may include roles/experiences in commercial content creation, application development, product development and management, customer engagement, technical consulting, and much more! Work with industrial automation technology that is developed within Rockwell Automation's major business segments to support The Connected Enterprise. This may include software for automation, programmable automation controllers, intelligent motor control, machine safety, process control, industrial security, cloud computing, industrial Ethernet, motion control, industrial components, variable-frequency drives, and more.

Rotational Program Overview

Rotation 1: Engineer in Training Program + Field/Sales Shadowing Location for EIT Program: Mayfield Heights, OH Location for Field: TBD, 2 months Rotation 2: Technical Focus Location: Dependent on Rotation (Fully In-person, Hybrid, or remote) Rotation 3: Business/Commercial Focus Location: Dependent on Rotation (Fully In-person, Hybrid, or remote) Rotation 4: Professional Services Delivery (More information below) Location: Dependent on Rotation (Fully In-person, Hybrid, or remote) After completing the 2 year rotational program, employees will automatically be considered for a full time position within the Digital Business Unit, our consulting group

Professional Services Delivery Rotation Overview

Be immersed and gain experience in the Professional Services Industries in a client facing role serving the customer goods and life sciences and industrial/High tech sectors Consult with Fortune 1000 clients on key business imperatives related to innovation, strategy, product development, manufacturing, and broader supply chain optimization. Work with team of fellow consultants to deliver customer solutions and implementations Design and implement disruptive digital technologies like Internet of Things, Machine Learning, and Augmented Reality to help our clients drive business model innovation, enable new customer experiences, and build new internal capabilities. Optimize client's new innovation, product development, manufacturing and broader supply chain processes and deploy supportive enterprise technologies like Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Portfolio Management (PPM), Supply Chain Planning & Management (SCM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. Willingness to travel up to 80% for 4th rotation & full-time position is critical

The Essentials – You Will Have:

Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university Permanent legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

The ability to relocate every six months depending on opportunities and rotations Graduated in the past three years with a technically focused degree Met us through an event or interned with us in the past A cumulative GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to approach challenges with innovative solutions Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently prioritize competing tasks and meet project deadlines Proven experience collaborating with and leading peers and managers to achieve project goals with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences A creative and adaptable mindset that allows you to think critically, problem-solve effectively, and embrace new challenges

Starting Compensation: $82,000.00
