Job Summary

This position is for a UM-Dearborn student who is enrolled at least part-time and who is available to work 15 hours per week for the duration of the employment period.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and facilitate monthly leadership drop-in workshops for UM-Dearborn studentsDevelop and lead workshops for student groups around various requested leadership topicsAssist with planning Civic Action Week, Alternative Breaks, and MLK Day of Service, and monthly Day of Service eventsMaintain administrative processes and tools (e.g., community service site list, service hour tracking, etc.)Market Office of Student Life events and initiatives (e.g., print materials, tabling, classroom visits, etc.)Support Office of Student Life programming initiativesOther tasks as assignedRequired Qualifications*Enrolled at least part-time as a UM-Dearborn studentAbility to speak publicly and represent the Office of Student Life in a positive lightHigh level of interpersonal skills: can listen effectively and interact with people appropriately and professionallyAvailable to work some nights and weekendsProficiency in Microsoft Office and Google SuiteDesired Qualifications*Federal Work Study EligibleModes of Work
