Drives inspects and performs light maintenance on the 45’ mobile mammography coach. Performs patient access functions of a specialized nature including demographics, registration, insurance verification, and billing criteria in multiple locations. Provides administrative support to the mobile technologist and addressing the various needs of the patients. Provides patients with the tools, both in paper and/or electronic format, which are needed by the clinical and revenue cycle teams to ensure their experience at UVA is optimal. Provides a safe non-emergent transport of staff and mammography imaging equipment to various sites. Driver/assistant will ensure vehicle is maintained in proper working condition and all required documentation and logs recorded accurately and completely.

Position Compensation Range: $21.10 - $32.71 Hourly
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent
Experience: 2 years relevant experience .
Licensure: Class B CDL with air brake endorsement required.Valid Virginia Drivers License with good driving record required.

Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling/standing/reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive) and driving (if appropriately licensed). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull > 100lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, noise, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
