The ERP Tech Delivery Role for B2B is responsible for providing technical leadership and ensuring the successful implementation of the B2B ERP solutions in scope of the Transformation program

Job Summary

The ERP Tech Delivery Role for B2B is responsible for providing technical leadership and ensuring the successful implementation of the B2B ERP solutions in scope of the Transformation program This role has accountability for the technical delivery of the B2B scope, ensuring designs reflect business requirements, effective solution governance has been applied, rigorous testing has been completed and a solid plan is in place to transition said solutions to ‘business as usual’ In this role, the successful candidate will manage and coordinate across cross-functional internal business and technology teams, as well as large numbers of external personnel provided by system integrators This role will align with horizontal delivery streams in the program to ensure that B2B requirements are effectively captured in streams such as data migration, reporting & analytics and testing, and that technical dependencies are managed effectively This role requires knowledge of ERP and enterprise systems, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors. Technical skills and experience

Technical Leadership:

Act as the primary IT/Technology point of contact for the B2B workstream. Scope includes, but is not limited to: B2B Customer Management Order Config / Price / Quote Customer Collaboration / EDI / Sell-Out B2B Commerce Portal 3PL Integration (Sephora, LVMH, COTY, Shiseido) Provide expert guidance on the SAP ERP solution architecture, integration, and technical design across the workstream. Ensure alignment of the ERP implementation with the Group’s broader Tech strategy and architecture roadmap (i.e. advances and changes in taxation requirements, transfer pricing policies, Treasury evolution and payments landscape, latest B2B processes and controls) by maintaining connection and alignment to the Group Tech and B2B teams plans.

Solution Design & Architecture:

Collaborate with functional and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications Lead the design and development of the technical aspects of the SAP ERP system, including configurations, customizations, and system integrations Work with the Transformation Program Architecture team to ensure that the solution adheres to best practices and enterprise architecture standards Prepare and submit change requests in alignment with Business Process Owners and Architects, representing technical elements of these changes in relevant Change Boards Share and collaborate with other Tech Delivery Leads enabling the ability of reuse of functional solutions, concepts, and best practices within the Program.

Vendor & Partner Management:

Manage relationships with external vendors, system integrators, and SAP consultants to ensure timely and quality delivery of technical solutions. Oversee the performance of third-party vendors and ensure that they deliver in accordance with contractual commitments.

System Integration:

Lead the integration of SAP ERP with existing systems, third-party applications, and other technologies in use by the Group Identify the transition states and interim integrations to legacy systems that may be required, and work with Group Tech team to agree resources and expertise needed to deliver. For B2B this includes, but is not limited to: Legacy B2B systems: Oracle EBS (during periods of interim and transition architecture) 3PL partners systems: LVMH, COTY, Sephora, ETOILE, Shiseido systems Where appropriate, work with the System Integrator and business lead to identify the size and scale of changes needed in legacy/external system to enable the desired end-to-end process and data flow Manage the internal and external resources required to enable the above changes Coordinate with other Tech leads from different workstreams to ensure smooth and seamless data flows across the system landscape.

‘Horizontal’ Tech Delivery

The Transformation Program will include a number of horizonal workstreams which will cut across functions. In this role, the Tech Delivery Lead will work with each of these workstreams to ensure the functional requirements are delivered through the horizontal teams. The Tech Delivery role needs to ensure that the horizonal streams deliver to enable and support the functional agenda.

These include, but are not limited to:

Testing Support and guide the testing phases (SIT, UAT), ensuring that technical aspects of the system are thoroughly tested and validated. Provide input into the development of testing strategies and test scripts related to tech deliverables. Work with the Testing Lead to ensure an effective automated testing process is put in place for the modules and systems in scope of the role.

Reporting & Analytics:

Support the Reporting & Analytics lead to identify the key data to be modelled, and the key reports requiring enablement Support and provide functional expertise to advise on which reports should best be managed in native ERP reporting vs. bespoke creation outside of the ERP

Data Migration:

Align the data migration strategy for the functional workstream, ensuring accurate and secure data transfer from legacy systems to SAP ERP Pro-actively identify where changes from legacy to new ERP may create a large amount of data transformation and migration efforts and flag accordingly Work closely with data teams to ensure that data structures, formats, and quality standards are met.

Identity & Access Management:

Provide functional expertise to ensure that the roles proposed as part of IAM fit business needs and balance business usability and governance / control Cutover & Environment Management: Provide knowledge of business processes and system capabilities to inform the correct sequencing of cutover and release plans Ensure that cutovers and the implications on business processes (i.e. freeze periods) are well understood and communicated back to business functions

Technical Risk & Issue Management:

Identify, document, and manage technical risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution or escalation to the programme management team Develop mitigation strategies for technical risks related to system integrations, data migrations, and overall solution performance

Post Implementation Support & BAU Transition:

Lead the handover of the system to operational support teams, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools for post-implementation support. Ensure early ramp-up and capability build for DevOps support team to enable the above objective Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during the stabilization period.

What you’ll need to succeed  

Strong understanding of business processes and how they are supported by ERP systems. Experience working with ERP and enterprise systems is mandatory, in design, deployment, testing and support  Experience working with SAP is desirable, though training will be provided for individuals needing latest SAP understanding and awareness Experience managing large hybrid teams comprised of internal and external resources Experience managing external vendors to a budget / target and ensuring close scope management Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in technology implementation and management. Proven experience as a functional lead or similar role in large-scale transformation programs

Education and Professional Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, ERP certifications) is a plus
