Lead Technical Program Manager

The Global Technology Chief Data & Analytics Office (GTCDO) is committed to creating value through data exploitation and ensuring technology data is valid, reliable, traceable, timely, available, secure, and consistent. Tech CDO is accountable for how technology data is collected, safeguarded, shared, controlled, retained, and destroyed across 1,000+ Enterprise Tech applications. 

As a Lead Technical Program Manager within the Chief Technology Office, specifically the Global Technology Chief Data & Analytics team, you will be responsible for steering the successful completion of intricate technology projects and programs that are crucial for achieving the firm's business objectives. Your profound understanding of technical principles, practices, and theories will be instrumental in crafting innovative solutions, while concurrently managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams effectively. Your robust analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will be vital in navigating through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives are in line with business objectives. Possessing advanced communication and stakeholder management skills, you will cultivate productive working relationships and influence decision-making to attain mutually beneficial outcomes. 

 

Job responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutionsIdentify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentumCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goalsUtilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectivenessChampion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Proven experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organizationAdvanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clientsAdvanced experience in utilizing technical fluency, including knowledge of vendor products and managing vendor relations, to enable on-demand access to shared pools of applications and servicesProven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environmentDemonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

PMP, AgilePM or similar certificationsStrong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.A familiarity with data analysis tools (Alteryx, Tableau etc.) would be advantageous.
