We are looking for a talented and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on cutting-edge SaaS technologies and impactful projects that are used by enterprises and users worldwide. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be involved in the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions. You will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the technical foundation behind our flagship products and services.

Job summary • Responsible for developing, testing, debugging and managing Nodejs applications/services.
• Participates in design and implementation of complex projects.
• Works under minimal supervision with general guidance from seniors in the team.
• Collaborates with external teams and stakeholders to coordinate deliverables.

Responsibilities
• Participates in estimating work along with the team.
• Develops code for delivery of complex features based on requirements by adhering to compliance and security guidelines of the organisation.
• Writes testable, performant code with unit tests.
• Contribute to API and QA automation
• Participates in code reviews and handling merge requests.
• Documents the features and approaches.

Required skills
• Experience of Nodejs development
• In-depth knowledge of Node.js and Node.js frameworks
• Proficiency of JavaScript
• Knowledge of security and different compliances
• Proficiency in JSON based services
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience of writing unit tests for Nodejs applications
• Experience of WebSockets and Socket-io is a plus
• Proficiency of creating database schemas with indexes
• Proficiency of MongoDB database design with indexes based on application query requirements
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and GCP services, Redis are a plus
