What The Role Offers

Bring software industry and new technology knowledge and apply expertise of technology for creating solution in OpenTextTake Proactive Leadership, overseeing medium to large scale projects , complex model development and end to end programs and solutionsDirect the application of existing principles and drive the development of innovative ideas.Coordinate and direct cross functional teams, ensuring exceptional results.Develop effective solutions for OpenText, evaluation all potential variables and adapting best suitable technologies.Make vertical decision as a lead, foster valuable networks with stakeholders and provide the guidance on  matters as needed.

 

 

 

What you will need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. 8+ years of professional experience in software development.Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, multi-threaded apps and design patterns.Advance knowledge of Java/J2EE, spring boot and development experience in microservicesExperience with front end technologies like Nodejs, angular.js, typescript etc.Python, bash etc. for automating localization tasks and configurationsproficient with cloud technologies. AWS preferable.Experience with Databases and opensource frameworksExperience with version control and build systemGood knowledge of Docker., Kubernetes.Good knowledge of Scripting and CI/CD .Excellent in communication: verbal and in written.Strong team player, self-starter, and pro-active.Should lead the initiatives, mentor the team for growth.
