As a Lead Quality Specialist - Manufacturing Chemicals, you will be responsible for:

Leading and mentoring a small team of quality technicians to deliver incoming material inspections, in-process final and inspection and release of manufactured productsDeveloping strategic plans for continuous improvement of processes to improve efficiency of service deliveryEnsuring a safe working environment by identifying potential risks and implementing safety measures according to our HSE policiesAssisting in quality incident investigations to perform root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actionMaintaining monitoring and measurement equipment to ensure reliability of quality data relating to product specificationsTaking ownership for maintaining our ISO certification on site and at facilitating internal, external, customer audits as neededEngaging with customers to obtaining feedback and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a degree in chemistry or related science related field and have experience in quality operations; or, in the alternative, an Associate's Degree with 5+ years’ experience in quality operations related fieldHave chemical laboratory experienceHave previous experience leading and mentoring othersDemonstrate great root cause analysis skillsDisplay an ability to analyze problems, and provide efficient solutionsBe familiar with ISO 9001:2015Must be able to present information in a clear and concise manner to different audiencesHave experience of delivering small projects and initiativesLean Six Sigma certification preferredHave strong oral and written communication skills. Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
