Lead a team of Technicians:

+ **Quality Management and Analysis Systems such as: QDAS (Data Analysis System for Capability and Trouble Shooting), Quality Worx, QLS (Quality Leadership System); engineering workstation; Microsoft Office Tools**
+ **Implement interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D tool, 6 panel, etc.**
+ **Manage and direct statistical process control activities**
+ **Knowledge of and ability to execute measurement systems analysis & variable data analysis**
+ **Identify sources of variation within a production environment effectively and efficiently**
+ **Monitor quality target levels**
+ **Provide input for design and assembly concepts which will yield nominal variations**
+ **Establish critical characteristics for gauging and measuring data collection methods**
+ **Determine inspection equipment and facility requirements**
+ **Support expedited concern resolution with cross functional teams including the Quality Department, Production and Suppliers**
+ **Review internal/external suppliers for critical characteristics process compatibility**
+ **Review incoming quality concerns to maintain quality with assigned area; must have experience with initiating containment, determining root cause and implementing corrective actions**
+ **Responsible for leading QOS (Quality Operating System) initiatives within the production department**
+ **Provide Quality support to production department**
+ **Review with production team leaders and Process Coaches quality issues and be the point of contact with other departments such as Bodyshop, TCF, AQA and MP&L.**
+ **Coordinate during quality concerns containment actions, dock holds, special checks to eliminate any impact to customer.**
+ **Keep traceability records regarding quality actions for future reference**
+ **Manage quality documentation on FTT, FRC (First Time Through), 8Ds, Scrap, TH Holds, Campaigns etc.**
+ **Prepare standard reports for Quality reviews within the plant and with other areas.**
+ **Lead cross-functional team initiatives in quality to achieve no faults forward / zero defects.**
+ **Lead 8D resolution of Warranty and VO (Vehicle Operation) concerns working together with Quality, MP&L (Material Planning & Logistics), Machining and VO.**
**Document and control error proofing checks, internal checks, and additional containments.(Control Plan Adherence)**
**Degree/National Diploma in Quality / Chemical / Mechanical / Operations Management**
**A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Paint Shop, Leading Teams**
