Lead Product Manager

Introduction to the Team
We are looking for a high performing individual contributor whose role is pivotal in shaping innovative travel products, aligning with strategic business objectives, and satisfying customer needs. In this role an individual will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure our products are at the forefront of the travel industry. Your efforts will focus on integrating advanced AI/ML technologies, conducting rigorous market analysis, and leading product direction with data-driven insights to maintain Expedia’s competitive edge in the travel market.

Your role will encompass leading AI-powered growth efforts across our brands (Hotels.com, VRBO, etc...) with a focus on our Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) Model.  CLV is our Northstar metric, allowing us to make fast and consistent data decisions.  This important model enables us to take a thoughtful approach to our investments, maximize margins, and scale in a calculated manner. 

You will define the product roadmap, help prioritize initiatives, create new models and improve the current CLV model.   If you’re passionate about AI, innovation, and a self-starter who is ready to make a meaningful impact on millions of travelers, join us in this exciting journey! 

In this role, you will:

Craft and execute a roadmap by partnering with stakeholders across the business 

Uncover and evangelize use cases for the application of CLV across product areas 

Partner with Analytics and ML teams to form hypothesis, identify important signals, and incorporate CLV where necessary to improve experiences 

Drive innovation and excellence in AI product development, ensuring alignment with business goals 

Lead existing partnerships with other Expedia product teams and create new partnership opportunities to deliver additional business value 

Experience and qualifications

You have 3+ years relevant experience in product management including 2+ years shipping ML-centric products at scale 

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, or related) 

Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale products 

Strong business acumen 

Exceptional leadership and communication skills 

Passion for technology, data, and innovation 

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $173,000.00 to $242,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $277,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
