BASIC FUNCTION:
Support daily operations of the ATC such as administrative duties, processing faculty exam requests, preparing for daily testing sessions, facilitating student check-in, proctoring exams, responding to faculty and student questions, responding to behavioral inconsistencies during testing sessions, reporting incidents of suspected academic misconduct to Assistant Director/Coordinator, and supervising proctors.
Duties and Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review and approve instructor testing requests using secure exam software, flag issues, and follow up with faculty. Create and print cover sheets and exams.
Prepare for testing sessions by collating materials and checking that testing packets are complete and have all the correct materials.
Check-in students for testing sessions, review ATC policies and procedures prior to testing.
Proctor exams, observe students to ensure academic integrity.
Monitor video surveillance of the testing center during exam sessions.
In cases of suspected academic misconduct, complete the incident report, alert the supervisor, contact faculty in the absence of Assistant Director/Coordinator, and communicate incident report with student(s).
Facilitate smooth operation of center and high-level service through timely and appropriate phone calls and email correspondence.
Assist faculty who come to ATC to pick up completed exams.
Maintain student privacy.
Maintain emphasis on dependability and timeliness due to nature of structured testing schedule.
Engage in professional development and acquire/maintain certifications as determined appropriate by the supervisor.
Work non-standard work week, evening hours.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform additional duties as required.
LICENSES, TOOLS, AND EQUIPMENT:
Personal computers; word processing, spreadsheet, and database software; web-based applications such as Google Suite. Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor’s degree.
2. Demonstrated office management experience.
3. Demonstrated experience proctoring in a secondary or postsecondary setting.
4. Demonstrated experience with testing procedures and protocols.
5. Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
7. Demonstrated proficiency with written communication skills.
8. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
9. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations.
10. Must be available to work non-standard work schedule (including evening hours).
Preferred Qualifications PREFERRED:
1. Demonstrated experience working with neurodivergent populations.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of Assistive Technology and Digital Accessibility.
