As a Lead Process Integration Engineer for our Advanced Technology Engineering group, you are responsible for hiring and training talent to form a regE (region E) team including wafer uniformity optimization, wafer backside/bevel engineering, wafer stress management. This position’s responsibility for optimizing any new DID wafer bevel & backside processes, and managing critical processes for improving cross wafer uniformity, defect reduction from wafer bevel, stress management for front side process stability control. The goal is to be able to ramp up regE yield to achieve critical milestone and best in class product quality. You will coordinate with central team, other fabs, TD, quality team, design team to implement the best in class known methods and BKM to ID1.
Responsibility:Optimizing wafer bevel/backside and overall stress managementCo-work with module owner to improve process cross wafer uniformity.Region E yield ramp up, co-work with YE, device, RAM team to build regE yield detractor pareto and drive activities.Development new methodology to characterize for improving regE health.Identify, diagnose and resolve assembly process related problemsCoordinate and execute process, equipment and material evaluation / optimization initiatives and implement changes at process stepValidate and fan out new process baseline qualified, including new process, tools and/or materials for new product introductionMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field of experience.5+ years experience in the semiconductor industry in the areas of Process Integration, Module Process.Previous experience in DRAM including TD, HVM, and transfer team. Other memory technology or logic/foundry experience will be considered.Possess a deep understanding of the DRAM process flow.Demonstrated experience overseeing an engineering team (3+ direct reports)Preferred Qualifications:Advanced Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fieldProven experience leading a process engineering team in a HVM facilitySolid understanding of manufacturing team structures, standards, and processesAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
