Make sure that they are fit for the job and trained to handle all internal emergency situations in our Beerse site (Seveso TIER 2). + You advise on fire safety and technical safety, more specific for changes and (construction) projects. + You participate as expert in risk assessments + You further expand expertise regarding fire safety and emergency response together with the technical departments, the insurance company and the global EHS organization. + You develop a training plan for emergency preparedness and response and for fire safety. + You represent EHS on the work floor to support in incident investigations, input for management of change, advice on technical topics. + You assist or lead internal and external audits with local government and insurance company. + You participate in an on-call system in the context of internal emergency planning at the Beerse site to act as officer on duty of the internal fire brigade outside working hours (+/- 15 weeks / years) DUTCH VERSION De veiligheids, gezondheids- en milieuafdeling (EHS) van de Beerse site is op zoek naar een Expert Noodplanning en brandveiligheid (hoofd van de interne brandweer). Zorgt ervoor dat ze geschikt zijn voor de job en opgeleid zijn om alle interne noodsituaties in onze site in Beerse aan te pakken (Seveso TIER 2). + Je geeft advies op het gebied van brandveiligheid en technische veiligheid, meer specifiek bij veranderingen en (bouw)projecten. + Je neemt als expert deel aan risicoanalyses. + Samen met de technische afdelingen, de verzekeringsmaatschappij en de wereldwijde EHS-organisatie breid je de expertise op het gebied van brandveiligheid en BHV verder uit. + Je ontwikkelt een opleidingsplan voor noodplanning en voor brandveiligheid. + Je vertegenwoordigt EHS op de werkvloer en geeft ondersteuning bij incidentonderzoeken, input voor het managen van verandering, advies over technische onderwerpen. + Je assisteert of leidt interne en externe audits van lokale overheden en verzekeringsmaatschappijen. + Je neemt deel aan een oproepsysteem in het kader van de interne noodplanning op de site in Beerse om buiten de werkuren (+/- 15 weken/jaren) op te treden als officier van dienst van de interne brandweer **Qualifications** ENGLISH VERSION + You have a technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. + You have knowledge and experience in the field of fire safety (higher fire academy) + You have a degree in prevention advisor level 2 or are willing to acquire this. + You are trained as a firefighter. + You are trained as (minimum) petty officer for the fire brigade (or equivalent experience) or are willing to acquire this. + You are medically fit to act as fireman (medical examination and VO2max test (min 45)) + You live in a 15-minute radius of the Beerse site to be able to act as officer on duty of the internal fire brigade. + You are skilled in working with IT systems and emergency equipment and hardware + You enjoy achieving results, both independently and with diverse teams. + You can express yourself fluently (written and oral) in Dutch and English. + You can deal with people at all levels within a large and sophisticated organization. + You can take initiative to achieve goals and achieve results in a timely manner. Being able to plan your own tasks in advance is therefore a meaningful competence. + You are willing to travel (10%).
