Details about this opportunity:  + Lead Occupational Therapist for Kidz Educational + School Based + Compensation: $66,000-$69,000 + Full Time, Monday-Friday What we have to offer YOU:   Family of Kidz Full Time offerings include: + Generous Paid Time Off(20-35 days of PTO within first year of service based on position) + 13 Paid holidays (including the week of 12/25 through 1/1) + Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance + 401(k) -fully vested after 5 years, and discretionary EOY contribution + Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts + Life Insurance + Employee Assistance Program + Referral Program + Professional Development Assistance + Legal and Pet Insurance + Long-Term and Short-Term Disability Insurance + Team Building Events Responsibilities:  + Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload. + Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations. + Develop appropriate functional goals for the IEP. + Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management. + Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals. + Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs. + Maintain all children/students’ confidentiality. + Create and maintain schedule with assigned individual families/school personnel. + Collects data on each IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly + Administer and write-up Annual Review reports for all school age children. + Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure consistency and maximize gains for the children on your caseload. + Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews. + Assist staff therapists with documentation by reviewing and providing feedback for reports, as well as with learning best methods for presenting evaluation and annual review reports + Provide ongoing support for a team of therapists as an assigned mentor + Supervise graduate clinical students as needed + Assist in managing the schedule of designated team members + Up to two administrative hours per week About You:  If you have these attributes:  + Sterling values and integrity + Strong leadership skills + Be goal-orientated and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work + Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations + Understand and demonstrate the company core values + Conduct self in accordance with all company policies and procedures + Must be a motivated professional and innovative thinker + Must be a team player who can work with other professionals outside of their expertise + Must exercise patience and professionalism + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail + Excellent and positive communication skills, both oral and written + Ability to prioritize work for self + Flexible and open to chance + Be friendly and approachable (service oriented) And this background:  + Current New York State Occupational Therapy License + Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy + Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children with special needs, ages 5-21 years + Proficient computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, EMR Then we are looking forward to receiving your resume!      Why Join our Family?
