GovCIO is currently hiring for Lead NetworkEngineer. This position will be located in Ft Liberty Fayetteville, NC and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

Gathers information concerning the capabilities of Company products; investigates the technical capabilities of Company products and competing equipment and/or solutions; stays abreast of developments in hardware and software. Generates quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, and ensures requirements comply through formal verification methods. Translates high level product development strategies into network and system requirement specifications and works with other engineering disciplines to develop lower level detailed implementation requirements. Establishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overall network and system development. Designs interfaces and brings network and system elements together so they work as a whole. Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Customer liaison and support for business development activities and to understand and shape requirements.

Qualifications

High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Qualifications: 1. One DoDI 8570.01 Level III certification (in any category as it relates to the PWSareas of responsibility for this Key Personnel position).2. A minimum of five years of experience providing Network Engineering supportservices to DoD organizations, and providing IT support to NIPRNet, SIPRNet, andconnected local networks or enclaves.3. A minimum of five years of experience designing and implementing networkarchitecture.4. One infrastructure-related technology certification.5. A minimum of one year of experience providing executive-level technical briefingsand presentations to senior personnel in a SOF environment. Clearance Required: TS/SCI eligible  Desired Qualifications: 1. DoDI 8570.01 IASAE Level III certification.2. One or more ITIL certifications.3. A minimum of three years of experience providing IT support to coalition and alliednetworks hosted within DoD organizations.

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
