The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Lead MQ-25 Flight Test Engineer to join our team in Patuxent River, MD. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting Ground and Flight Test at multiple locations.
This position will reside in Patuxent River, MD but will start outside of St. Louis in Mascoutah, IL first at the Boeing MQ-25 Manufacturing Facility. When ground test is complete, the Flight Test Engineer will transfer with the aircraft to support testing at Naval Air Station in Patuxent River, MD.
As a Flight Test Engineer, you will be responsible for managing aircraft configuration and supporting test events. This position will work side by side with maintenance, test conductors, and discipline engineers to ensure that the aircraft is ready for test. As the team lead you will be responsible for mentoring and supporting MQ-25 Integrated Test Team teammates, to include both Boeing and Navy testing engineers, with technical challenges and ensuring the correct process and procedures are being followed.

Develop and document standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivityLead the development of test proceduresApply lessons learned to the improvement of test proceduresDesign calibration system/test fixturesDevelop data processing tools and algorithmsGenerate calibration procedures and softwareGuide others in the design of test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirementsOversee debriefing of the test teamLead the analysis, processing and formatting of data to customer requirementsApprove test data prior to delivery to customerFormulate expectations for test data based on historical dataPerform functions as required to ensure calibration system readiness and data validityTrain othersWork under minimal directionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 3+ years of developmental flight test experience3+ years of experience leading and/or managing a teamPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Hands-on experience with on-aircraft testingExperience working on military aircraftWilling and able to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international) to meet customer needs and fulfill the statement of workDrug Free Workplace:
