We are located at 414 Haverhill Street in Rowley, MA. As a Family Medicine and Multispecialty office, we provide physical examinations, routine health screenings and preventative care for patients of all ages - infants through adults.
Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Lead Medical Assistant to support our Primary Care and Multispecialty practice in Rowley, MA! This is a 40-hour onsite position. Our practice is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm. Please note, candidates must be available to work during the hours of 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with staggered shifts that may vary based on operational needs. Availability for Saturday shifts may also be required. Additionally, candidates must be willing and able to travel to various clinic locations as needed.Operational Responsibilities:
This position plays a key leadership role within the clinical operations team. Responsibilities include:
-Providing guidance and oversight to Medical Assistants and Leads within the clinic.
-Collaborating closely with the Practice Manager and Director of Operations to support day-to-day clinic functions and strategic initiatives.
-Participating in recurring leadership meetings, including manager, staff, and operational meetings (typically 2–3 times per month).
-Supporting staff development, including conducting or assisting with evaluations, training, regular rounding, and competency review.
-As preceptor, offering hands-on support to Medical Assistants as needed to ensure efficient clinical operations.
-Contributing to strategy development and process improvement efforts to enhance patient care and team performance.
Additional tasks include:
-One Call Resolve in the phone room
-Supporting staffing LOA, sick calls, vacations/work in flow with providers
-Supporting specialist- MA coverage
-Supporting Phlebotomist for same day visits
-POCT Audits
-Sweeping exam rooms/supply and inventory
-Vaccine and medication inventory management
Qualifications
Required:
High School diploma/GEDMedical Assistant course or diploma program or minimum of 3 years of professional experienceCertification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCTEither BLS or Annual Manikin training including CPR and AED after 6 months of hire
