Lead Mechanical Design Engineer Gas Turbine & Centrifugal Compressor Package system

As Lead Engineer - Mechanical Design you will be responsible for design & development of Gas turbine & Centrifugal compressor auxiliaries/skid packaging that includes,

Understanding customer specifications, deriving requirements for the design of various Mechanical Auxiliaries.Sizing and selection of various auxiliary equipment such as pumps /motors/ filters/ heat exchangers/strainers/valves.Piping design as per ASME B31.3 (pipe sizing , pressure drop calculation, material selection, reviewing piping stress analysis, piping support selection and piping layout design)Structural verification using FEA tools such as Ansys.Foundation loads calculation and skid lifting design.Leading project meetings, and travelling for Kick off / 3D model review meetings with global customersCollaborating with external engineering suppliers in the creation & review of basic engineering drawings and 3D models, with knowledge on GD&T.

Prime accountability will be on Quality, On-time delivery, cost & engineering productivity.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a bachelor’s / master’s in mechanical/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Static /Rotating equipment designExperience in skid packaging of Gas Turbine and/or centrifugal compressor,Strong experience in Piping domain Exposure to FEA Analysis software like Ansys.Exposure to API/ASME /NFPA codes.Exposure to 3D modeling/Detailing tools like UG NX, GD&T.
