**Job Type:** Regular **Time Type:** Full time **Work Shift:** Day (United States of America) **FLSA Status:** Non-Exempt **When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.** LEAD MAMMO/RAD TECHNICIAN **Job Description:** Lead Mammographer We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will operate specialized radiography equipment to assist in the safe and efficient diagnosis and assessment of patient conditions. Expand your knowledge while working in the Hoffman Breast Center. Use your expertise in Mammography to assist in providing quality care to our loyal patient base. Key Responsibilities include: Performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, positioning patients correctly for optimal image quality, and assisting with biopsies. Assigning tasks to other technologists, providing guidance and training to new staff, evaluating performance, and addressing any issues within the department Monitoring equipment functionality, performing quality assurance checks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (MQSA), and identifying potential quality issues Explaining procedures to patients, addressing concerns, maintaining patient confidentiality, and coordinating follow-up appointments. Maintaining accurate patient records, scheduling appointments, managing staff schedules, and reporting to the Mammography Supervisor. This position will work a day shift from 8:00-4:30. Preferred Criteria + Prior leadership experience + Prior Epic experience Required Criteria + 3 years of related work experience + American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registered in Radiologic Technology and Mammography + Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license + Graduate of approved School of Radiology + High School Diploma/GED **As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
