THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: The Merchandising & Master Data IT Lead Analyst will lead the functional, technical and configuration responsibility for implementation and support of ULTA’s Merchandising systems that includes item master data, vendor master data, site master data, pricing, and procurement. The IT Lead Analyst will be working closely with the cross functional IT team and business on requirements gathering, implementations and on-going support. This position will be part of high performing team in the Merchandising Planning and Operations systems area. YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY: Application Support: Identifies and resolves issues with applications, following agreed procedures. Uses application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics. Carries out agreed applications maintenance tasks Incident Management: Undertakes the identification, registration, and categorization of incidents. Gathers information to enable incident resolution and promptly escalates incidents as appropriate. Maintains records and advises relevant persons of actions taken Problem Management: Investigates problems in systems, processes, and services. Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures Requirements Definition: Uses established techniques as directed to identify current problems and elicit, specify, and document business functional, data and non-functional requirements for various subject areas with clearly defined boundaries. Assists with implementing the processes for establishing agreed baselines for change and managing the assessment and application of requested changes to those requirements. Assists in defining acceptance tests for the specified requirements Solution Design: Actively involved in solution design in the respective area taking ownership and accountability of the requirements and end to end design and collaborating on it with business and IT cross functional partners Solution Implementation: Assist in implementing solutions and application as a part of business requirements or enterprise initiatives. Works closely with the stakeholders and cross functional partners during the entire life cycle of the project Release Deployment: Uses the tools and techniques for specific areas of release and deployment activities. Administers the recording of activities, logging of results and documents technical activity undertaken. May carry out early support activities such as providing support advice to initial users Development Testing: Identifies requirements and specifications, and test conditions. Designs and leads test cases and test scripts, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording, and reporting outcomes. Guide as well as execute test cases in accordance with project test plans. Analyzes and documents test activities, result, issues, and risks THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: 8+ years’ experience in an enterprise application implementation environment, retail preferred. Collaborate with all levels of stakeholders, from executives to implementation team for project delivery and support. Experience with Master data and Pricing and Merchandising solutions in retail or high-volume industries in S/4 HANA Environment. Learn and develop expertise in the business processes, coordinate analysis and activities across multiple teams/areas with best practices in mind. Proven track record and experience in providing superior production support, willing to be part of the support roster. Experience in working with contractor firms with resources both onshore and offshore. Strong communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal and active listening traits Strong leadership skills in accountability and customer focus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Flexibility of providing support during odd hours, weekends, and peak seasons Be proactive and ability to catch issues before failures. Practical experience using JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence to manage the respective cycles of a project. Good understanding on batch jobs and their dependencies Must possess ability to tackle parallel tasks and adapt quickly to change. Continuous improvement of processes, design, and documentation Experience with any ETL tools is a plus. Self-starter, ability to perform individually and in a team setting. Minimum travel required (training/conferences) #LI-CS1 The pay range for this position is $100,900.00 - $160,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
