Lead Insert Operator

We are actively seeking a Lead Insert Operator for our Coppell, TX location. In this role, acting in a single operator capacity, you will be responsible for the set up, operation and monitoring of automatic or high-speed inserting equipment used in the production and assembly of client output. This may include cutting, bursting, binding, folding, inserting, labeling, stitching and trimming. You may support projects of any scope or size. You will identify and troubleshoot problems that occur within the operations environment and suggest ways to improve the process. You will approach projects and decisions with the end in mind, understand the impact decisions can have on the team, and assume responsibility for communicating, promoting, and incorporating the printing environment. Responsibilities will include: + Ability to work flexible hours/schedule + Performing all aspects of the high-speed inserting operations role and may also lead daily shift operations. + Interpreting production orders to determine the proper job requirements prior to execution of the client-printed output. + Assembling printed materials into a final product and distributing final product to end destination. + Assisting the operators and mail examiners + Understanding each product color code and the month end pbm + Assisting with the first piece signoff and red tag area + Ensuring all the meter sheets are collected for the shift + Inserting weight and thickness before month end and update the spreadsheet on SharePoint + May provide temporary supervision in the absence of a Supervisor which could include leadership responsibilities such as training, staff motivation, scheduling, performance management, company policy enforcement, and working with other departments/divisions to ensure a quality product is being produced. Skill sets required: + Ability to ensure quality products throughout the process and handle pressure effectively to ensure the service provided meets client expectations. + Proven skill working in a team environment with various personality types to get the work done. Ability to relate well, build consensus and show respect and consideration for others. + The ability to carry up to 40 pounds is required. Qualifications: + High School diploma or equivalent education and experience required. + Knowledge of a Production environment. Ability to apply production procedures to day-to-day operations. + Ability to operate a PC and be literate in using application software such as Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word. + Strong communication, analytical skills and organizational skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask, and recognize the importance of deadlines.
