As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Banking Technology team you apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Job responsibilities

Applies technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope Drives a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies Works with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes Executes creative solutions for the design, development, and technical troubleshooting for problems of moderate complexity Strongly considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and advises on mitigation actions Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect Design highly performant database systems Help others learn and follow best practices through example and influence Debug and diagnose interesting and sometimes complex problems Always consider dimensions of security, resiliency, availability, and performance

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on database design concepts and proficient advanced experience Hands-on practical experience delivering database design, testing, and operational stability Advanced in one or more programming language(s) Java, or .net  Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems Practical cloud native experience (AWS) Experience is setting up monitoring tools such as Datadog and Dynatrace. Experience with multi-region replication strategy (both hot/hot and hot/standby Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience on scaling capacity to handle orders of magnitude additional load Complete cloud data center buildout via Infrastructure as Code Increase the fidelity of our observability signals in order to better manage infrastructure at scale Relational postgress SQL server Observability datadog dynatrace
