Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and driven Python Developer to join our team in building scalable and high-performance cloud-based applications using Python, Genapi, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). If you are passionate about cloud technologies, API development, and working with cutting-edge tools and services, we would love to have you on our team! Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications using Python and Genapi. • Develop, optimize, and document RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services and applications. • Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build, deploy, and scale applications. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design scalable architectures, and implement efficient solutions. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud applications to ensure high availability and performance. • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best development practices. • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior developers. • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in cloud computing and software development. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical solutions to business stakeholders. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines. • Health care domain experience preferred but not mandatory. • Should attend offshore, onsite and client meetings as per the requirements. • Should practice and exhibit UST’s core values at work: humility, humanity, and integrity. • Should be flexible to work during overlap hours up to 10:30 PM IST based on business requirements. Required Qualifications: • At least 5 years of experience as a Python Developer. • Strong experience in developing cloud-based applications with Python. • Proven experience in API development (preferably RESTful APIs). • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services like Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and App Engine. • Familiarity with Genapi or similar API management and generation tools. • Solid understanding of databases (both SQL and NoSQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization skills. Nice to have Qualifications: • Experience with cloud-native architectures, including serverless and microservices. • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools. • Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools. • Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Knowledge of Python frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI. • Experience with data processing technologies such as Apache Kafka or Google Pub/Sub.
