Lead Global Product Manager - Platform Services

Global Product Management, Identity Management


As a critical member of the Identity Management team within Global Product Management at ResMed, you will lead the vision and strategy and identify and prioritize challenges related to managing identities for providers and consumers. You will represent the voice of the customer and their requirements, ensuring user and stakeholder needs are central to the development of secure and scalable identity solutions.

You will define product roadmaps and requirements that align with ResMed’s person-centric care strategy, global compliance standards, and short- and long-term business objectives. Collaborating closely with UX, engineering, and other teams, your work will enable the delivery of innovative identity management capabilities that enhance user experiences and accelerate platform scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Define Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear vision for Identity Management, aligning with ResMed's mission to deliver person-centric care pathways. Leverage insights from stakeholders and the market to shape the roadmap.

Drive Product Roadmap: Prioritize initiatives to create a centralized person and machine identity domain to provide continuous, consistent identification across multiple other domains and enhance identity verification, authentication, and access control services, ensuring scalability, usability, and regulatory compliance. Incorporate features such as single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), passkeys/passwordless authentication, and role-based access control (RBAC).

Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with engineering, legal, regulatory, security, and other product teams to deliver identity solutions that integrate seamlessly across ResMed's ecosystem including other domains and third-party systems, supporting our interoperability initiatives and standards.

Lead Agile Practices: Facilitate agile ceremonies, including PI planning, backlog grooming, prioritization, and sprint planning and participating in other ceremonies including standups and retrospectives. Ensure the team delivers incremental value through well-defined epics and user stories and supporting engineering in their development of technical stories and tasks.

Enhance User Experience: Collaborate with UX teams to design intuitive self-service portals for account management and administrative tools for user management and support.

Monitor and Optimize: Specify the use of our product analytics tools and teams to track the performance and success of identity services and products, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with engineering to increase observability of the systems.

Enable Global Scalability: Ensure Identity Management services are globally compatible, supporting multilingual, and region-specific regulatory requirements (with partnerships with our global regulatory teams) to accelerate international expansion.

Skills and Experience:

Strategic Leadership: Proven experience in leading high-impact, technical product initiatives, ideally within platform or identity management domains.

Technical Proficiency: Working understanding of authentication protocols, identity federation (e.g., Active Directory), and API-driven microservices architecture.

Regulatory Expertise: Familiarity with global data privacy regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA, with experience embedding compliance into product design.

Agile Excellence: Expertise in agile practices, leading product teams, and managing product backlogs to deliver business-critical features.

Customer-Centric Mindset: Ability to balance technical capabilities with user needs, delivering solutions that enhance security, scalability, and usability.
