Job Description

Lead the development of web-based applications that can be used to supplement automation deliveries achieved using Blue Prism or to build stand alone web applications that can be utilised internally.

There will be opportunity to build automations in Blue Prism alongside the web development as required within the team and there is an expectation that the web apps developed will incorporate cutting edge machine learning techniques to optimise their usefulness.

The Process Automation Team is responsible for delivering strategic projects to reengineer business processes and drive higher levels of service for clients.  These projects touch on all key parts of the trading lifecycle, from reengineering of dealing processing and settlement to rejection of instruction back to customers and reporting on to Asset Managers.

Specific Duties:

Design and developer web applications to support automationSetup and maintain servers to support applications developedMaintain individual specialisation, but cross trained and able to participate in projects using multiple technologiesEnsure change control processes are followed on all initiatives and documentation is created/updated for initiatives deliveredCreate technical development and release documentsWrite test scripts and test functions for developed tools, complete initial / functional QC as well as troubleshooting UAT / volume testingComplete Full Unit testing as well as troubleshooting QA / SIT / UAT / volume testing.Devise and maintain coding standardsCreate training plan to allow automation team members to work in web functionBuild and maintain relational databases to support web apps

Technical Skills:

Degree or equivalent, or proven practical experience in a similar role consideredExperience with coding languages such as C# and/or Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL Server, PythonWeb development experience preferably with Django / Angular / React.JSUnderstanding of Machine Learning and AIBlue Prism or other leading RPA softwareLinuxExcellent planning, organisational and reporting skillsTrack record of taking a pragmatic and innovative approach
