Lead Financial Analysis

You’ll will assist both operational and finance leadership to interpret monthly and quarterly results, develop forecasts and plans, map risks and initiatives, and support them with recommendations to achieve or exceed financial commitments.

This opportunity requires a talented, highly motivated individual who will challenge and is willing to be challenged, who moves fast but with accuracy, solves problems, collaborates, communicates with candor and is a team player. Other specific job requirements include:

Proficient in finance concepts, MBA/CPA/Finance or Accounting degree preferred,

Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, experience with large Excel files and advance formula creations and troubleshooting

Experience with Consolidation of Results, Outlook, and Plans,

Knowledge/ability to extract financial data from AT&T Financial systems,

Previous success in a BU CFO/ client-support role (expense preferred)

Advance knowledge or interest in modeling / forecasting and experience in some enterprise planning/forecasting tools/applications

Experience with data visualization tools is a PLUS (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.),

Ability to do independent analysis to get answers,

Ability to collaborate with individuals at multiple levels throughout the company.

The successful candidate will bring their financial analysis capabilities, innovation, critical thinking and influence to these key focus areas while working across multiple teams/orgs:

Gathering, interpreting, and evaluating monthly and quarterly financial results, annual budgets and in-year outlooks across multiple sub-organizations covering incurred expenses and segment allocated spend,

Building executive presentations and readouts to senior managers on produced consolidated financials with key takeaways evaluating financial performance,

Leading periodic budget transfer and restatement processes,

Coordinating and ensuring alignment across the teams on timelines, deliverables around results, forecasts/budgets etc.

Interfacing with the Corporate consolidation team to ensure alignment and to resolve issues as they come up,

Pursuing opportunities to improve & streamline monthly book close and outlook/plan processes with automation and efficiencies.
