The Civil Maintenance Engineer supervises preventive and predictive maintenance tasks as prescribed by OEM manual and Engineering specifications to limit changing time-limited parts and to keep equipment in proper working order. You will drive the “day by day” maintenance activities, carried-out by internal maintenance workers and Contractors, related to the equipment of the facility area.

As Civil Maintenance Engineer you will be:

Analyzing and maintaining the facility equipment at Firenze plant, making critical decisions in a timely manner and meeting safety and quality jobs for the major asset such as: Facade elements:  doors (normal and emergency), windows, brick finishes and cladding; Internal room elements as columns; Skylights; Masonry, walls, partition (internal) walls; Floorings, false flooring, covering; Ceilings, false ceilings; Drainpipe, gutter, drainage grid; Safety lines; Windows fixtures; Stairs, stair towers, ladders and walkways; Handrails and railings; Pits and manholes; Bathroom fixtures; Drinking and industrial water distribution system, sewerage system; HVAC system; F&G detection and system; Over-bridge crane and lifting device.You will analyze the cause of malfunctions, failure mode and repetitive troubles to implement proper corrective actions reducing the incidence of costly breakdowns and improve overall reliability and safety plant, personnel and production process, collaborating with the Maintenance Cell Leader and all the maintenance operation team.

As a Lead Facility Management Civil Engineer, you are responsible for:

Analysing cause of malfunctions, failure mode and repetitive troubles to implement proper corrective actions reducing the incidence of costly breakdowns, improving overall reliability and safety of the plant, personnel and production processesCollaborating with the Maintenance Cell Leader and all the maintenance operation team.Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.Coordinating with Contractors.Diagnosing breakdown problems.Guaranteeing compliance with regulations and continuous improvement of HSE performance, collaborate with HSE team to update and improve safety policies.Carrying out quality inspections on jobs.Liaising with engineering and production colleagues.Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.

To be successful in this role you will:

Be able to read equipment manuals to identify repair and failure mode.Have knowledge of civil engineering and related equipment.Have a Degree in a technical field from an accredited University (Civil Engineering) or a High School Diploma.Have good knowledge of software toolsBe professional proficient in EnglishHave facility maintenance experience
