As the Lead Enterprise Architect, you will play a crucial role in aligning IT capabilities with business objectives across the organization’s global operations. You will be responsible for the Architecture-function as well as the implementation of the Enterprise Architecture across the organisation. This strategic role involves close collaboration with business units (BUs).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop & Implement Target Enterprise Architecture: Maintain, enhance and implement a comprehensive architecture across the Group aligned with business goals and IT initiatives, ensuring scalability and adaptability. Mentorship and Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the architecture team, fostering professional development and improving architecture practices. Align IT and Business Objectives: Ensure that architectural frameworks support and enable the business strategy to achieve desired outcomes. Technology Roadmap Management: Develop and manage the technology roadmap, ensuring the adoption of emerging, scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions. Governance and Standards Oversight: Establish and enforce architecture governance, standards, and best practices across the organization for consistency and efficiency. System Integration Patterns: Oversee complex system integration projects, ensuring that new and existing systems work seamlessly together. Technology Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to technology and architecture, ensuring security and regulatory compliance. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior executives, business leaders, and IT teams to understand needs and deliver solutions that drive growth and efficiency. Support Digital Transformation: Lead architecture efforts for digital transformation, focusing on cloud-based and agile technologies.
Qualifications:
Enterprise Architecture Expertise: 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a strong focus on the financial services sector. Solution architecture Expertise: 10+ years of experience in solution architecture in design and improving global, multi-entity, multi-brand secure architecture spanning across multiple systems and platforms. Financial Services Technology Knowledge: Expertise in core banking systems, payment platforms, risk management, and digital banking, along with familiarity with regulatory challenges. Proficiency in Cloud, Data, and AI: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), data architecture, analytics, and AI/ML technologies, with a focus on security and compliance. Leadership and Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence key decisions, and manage enterprise-level projects. Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of financial regulations (e.g., GDPR, Basel III, PCI-DSS) and experience implementing compliant technology solutions. Risk Management and Cybersecurity Expertise: Experience in risk assessment, developing secure architectures, and implementing robust cybersecurity measures. Agile and Digital Transformation Experience: Hands-on experience in driving digital transformation using agile methodologies and modern DevOps practices.
