Your role and responsibilitiesWe are looking for a Project Lead Engineer to join our team at ABB Oy Process Industries Division. This role can be located in Helsinki, Pirkkala or Oulu. You will get to join a team focused on creating a future where innovative digital technologies allow greater access to cleaner energy.Would you like to be part of implementing digitalization for our Industrial Customers? In this role, you will work on digital solutions project activities across Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of several interesting projects and other activities in our business. As our new Lead Engineer, you will focus mainly on the following areas and activities in our Industrial Digitalization, Energy Management and Process Information System projects. The role requires occasional travel.You will be mainly accountable for:•Acting as the technical lead in complex cross-industry project deliveries •Designing and implementing projects as a senior member of a project team, including acceptance testing and training•Working with customers to understand their specific industry, environment, and needs, to tailor their ABB Ability system•Striving to find new opportunities to extract more value from existing customer environments with ABB Ability products
Qualifications for the roleM.Sc. degree in IT, Data Science, Process Automation, or equivalent knowledge gained through experienceKnowledge of process industry and industrial energy managementSkilled in managing complex digital customer environments, understanding the chain from machine interfaces to time series databases to HMIWork experience in industrial digitalization projects is an advantageCustomer-centered approach with good communication skills and proactive initiativeKnowledge of some of following technologies: C#, SQL, OPC UA, ODBC, Modbus, FTP, RESTValid working permit in Finland
