As a Lead Electronics Engineering Technician within our Integrated Flight Deck Systems\ngroup, you will use your advanced knowledge of electronic engineering fundamentals to\nhelp Honeywell Aerospace deliver innovative Avionics solutions that meet the evolving\nneeds of our customers. You will work alongside some of the world's most\ntalented technicians and engineers developing Honeywell's next generation of\nAvionics products through testing and validating products from prototype to\nmarket. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who\nprovide expertise and ensure the success of engineering projects and programs.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Product Engineers and other Electronics Technicians in troubleshooting faulty avionics hardwareParticipate in the development verification test procedures and perform testing of avionics products using common electronic laboratory equipmentExecute environmental and EMI Qualification testingPerform testing of Epic modules for Root-Cause determinationEnd-Item acceptance testing using Vector and CATE test stationsFabricate breadboard and prototype electronic devices, including loading configuration data into programmable logic devicesInterface with Equipment Maintenance personnel to ensure laboratory equipment is calibratedEnsure electronic test fixtures are in operable condition (cables, connectors, markings, etc.) and properly storedU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVEHigh School Diploma6+ years’ experience as an Electronics TechnicianWE VALUETechnical School Diploma/Certificate in Electronics Technology is of value.Ability to complete work, follow up and report appropriately on responsibilitiesExperience with Avionics or related Aerospace products is a plus.IPC Solder Certification, or equivalent is a plusProficient in the use of optical measurement equipment (e.g., Photometer, spectroradiometer) is of valueExperience with supporting FPGA programming/operation is of value
