This person must be a reliable, trustworthy and professional that will be responsible for the overall electric on the Woods campus. They will continually work to improve the quality and integrity of the electrical systems, to give the highest reliability of service to our residents. They must maintain a positive working relationship within all of the facilities departments. This person may also be called upon for special projects and to support our affiliates companies. Responsibilities Proficient with work order and equipment tracking software to run reports for analyzing data. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel. Maintains, services, repairs, and replaces, electrical equipment as needed. Responsible for work order distribution and follow up. Maintains proper inventory level of service parts and equipment. Communicates and supervises all electrical subcontractor and their work. Performs PM Service on all electrical and generation equipment with documentation for state and local agencies. All electric equipment, services, poles and transformers on campus. Maintains schedules for replacement of equipment. Help project coordinator create scopes of work for electrical projects and works in collaboration with others to see projects to their fruition. Assists in all facilities departments when needed at Woods and across the Woods System of Care. Work on call as scheduled. Available by phone for emergencies. Inspections PM Service of all generators. PM inspections on appliances PM inspections on all safety equipment. (Alarms, Exit signs and lights, etc.) Requirements Must have strong leadership skills with a minimum 1 year of management experience. Minimum certified electrical training school or enrolled in class within 18 months. Minimum 5 Years in the electrical trade. Must be thoroughly familiar with the principles of safe electrical Practices. Must have excellent communication skills, must be able to follow written or oral instructions and give written and oral instructions. Must be familiar with both State and Local codes, Must have a valid driver's license. Must be in excellent physical condition and must be able to climb, lift, push, pull and carry variable weighted equipment and use various tools. Minimum requirements - must be able to lift 75 lbs.
