PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Lead Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to the repair, rework, and assembly of avionics red-label products. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with a team of technicians and engineers to build, repair, and rework avionics red-label products and their associated CCAs (Circuit Card Assemblies). Perform expert-level lead-free soldering and rework, including surface mount, plated-through-hole, cuts-and-jumps, bonding, and conformal coating. Work on a variety of test equipment builds and repairs, including assembly, modification, and repair of cable harnesses, circuit cards, power controllers, EMI fixtures, and full-up test stations. Perform detailed troubleshooting and repairs of electronic components, ensuring that products meet rigorous quality standards. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics to support the build and repair processes. Collaborate directly with engineering teams to make build recommendations and propose solutions to technical problems. Ensure adherence to IPC standards and use tools such as crimping tools, soldering irons, mechanical tools, volt-meters, and continuity testers. Qualifications: Required: Expert knowledge in CCA repair and rework. At least 10 years of experience in CCA build, rework, and repair in microelectronics. Strong experience with lead-free soldering. Ability to read and understand Manufacturing Instructions (MI) and perform modifications on avionics LRU. Proficiency in troubleshooting electronic components and devices. Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC certification is a plus). Experience with SAP and computer-based tools for documentation and timekeeping. Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics. Preferred: Experience in working with red-label avionics products. Familiarity with building and fabricating test equipment assemblies. Knowledge of a wide range of tools, including crimping tools, soldering iron, volt-meters, and continuity testers. Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset to work with engineers on product improvement and solutions. Why Join Us?

Pay Details: $45.00 per hour
