The Electrical Maintenance engineer supervises preventive and predictive maintenance tasks as prescribed by OEM manual and Engineering specifications to limit changing time-limited parts and to keep equipment in proper working order. You will drive the “day by day” maintenance activities, carried-out by internal maintenance workers and Contractors, related to the equipment of the facility area.
As Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will be:
Analyzing and maintaining the facility equipment at Firenze plant, making critical decisions in a timely manner and meeting safety and quality jobs for the major asset such as: Induction electric motors; Generators; Continuous electric motors; MV and LV switchgears; Control panels; PLC control system; UPS; Electric technical room; Inverter; Variable frequency drive; Power system protection.The Electrical maintenance engineer manages work orders with computer maintenance management system software and findings reports throughout the process of root analysis and troubleshooting process.As a Lead Facility Management Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for:
Following up preventive/predictive maintenances and troubleshooting on various types of machinery and equipment that require technical knowledge.Working closely with the Manager in assigned area, providing him with weekly metrics on performance, schedules on critical repairs, as well as daily updates on critical equipment.Performing as reference point of contact with Equipment OEM and parts vendors.Supervising repair, assemble and installation of components for electrical system.Coordinating inspections on electrical, PLC systems, valves. gearbox, heat exchanger.Active participation in safety initiatives.Working closely with Facility Engineers in the review of machines preparing maintenance schedules and determine the necessary spare parts levels.Working with drawings, schematics, data sheet, P&I and wiring diagrams.Liaising with OEM, external vendor on equipment repair.Analyzing and diagnose cause of malfunctions, failures, and repetitive problems and recommend and implement proper corrective actions.Attending meetings for the introduction of new electrical equipment and PLC system, especially on aspects of maintainability.Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Be able to read equipment manuals to identify repair and failure mode. Have a Degree in a technical field from an accredited University (electrical Engineering) or a High School Diploma or extensive electrical knowledgeHave good knowledge of software toalols Be professional proficient in EnglishWork in a way that works for you
