LEAD DEMAND PLANNING ANALYST

About the Role

You will be a key stakeholder overseeing the Demand planning and inbound material activities within HARMAN Lifestyle Consumer Audio. You will lead the analysis of related data to manage overall forecast in a manner consistent with high-level customer service initiatives and the business financial plan.

Your Team

You will report to the Demand Planning Manager.  

What You Will Do

Execute scenario planning for current and long-term forecasts required to drive production and inventory planningProactively alert sales and supply team on changes in Key Account buying patterns by SKU, changes in assortment, to maximize delivery of salesLead forecasting reviews with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment of inventory plansLead excess and obsolesces prevention reviews and analyze variances of forecasted items quarterlyFacilitate customer SKU allocation.Liaison for supply planning team with other functional teams (Sales, Ops, Logistics, and Marketing) to incorporate market intelligence into forecasting environment

What You Need

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or any related fieldMinimum 4 years’ experience in Demand Planning, Data Modeling, Material Master Data Management preferably in a fast-paced consumer industryAbility to articulate assumptions, recommend alternatives, and corrective actions for non-adherenceAbility to facilitate and manage cross-functional product meetings to resolve issues, gain alignment, and develop recommendations for balancing demand and supply.Efficient time management (ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables), Results-driven, Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently as well as a member of a teamExtensive knowledge in Microsoft Excel

What is Nice to Have

Work experience with the large retailers is a plus (BBY, Target, Walmart, Amazon, etc.)   Proficient in SAP/IBPStrong analytical skills, experience working with a large volume of data and performing quantitative analysis

What Makes You Eligible

Be willing to travel up to 5%, domestic travelBe willing to work in an office in Northridge, CASuccessfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment

Salary Ranges:

$ 82,500 - $ 121,000
