Lead Delivery Manager

We are looking for a Lead Delivery Manager to join our Delivery Management Team in Barcelona, Spain. In this role, you will work closely with large development teams or cross-functional projects, leading planning processes, tracking progress, and driving collaboration to deliver successful outcomes. You’ll play a key role in streamlining workflows and improving processes for greater efficiency.

We’re seeking someone experienced with Agile/Lean methodologies, technical practices, metrics-driven improvements, and skilled in using Jira. This is a great opportunity to make an impact while working in a collaborative and innovative environment.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

6-8 years of experience with Proven background in EITHER Technical Project Management with Agile methodologies OR contributing to software development within the Software Development Life Cycle as part of a technology team.

Proven ability to deliver clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication. Experienced in improving team documentation, delivering data-driven reports, and engaging with senior stakeholders, including Business Unit directors.

Skilled in facilitating and managing team and technical discussions effectively.

Skilled in planning and forecasting at ticket and project levels, including capacity planning, timelines, and dependency management, with strong mediation and relationship-building abilities to resolve team dynamics issues.

2-3 years of experience in Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.

Experience with Agile transformation within organizations.

Exposure to working with multicultural, global, and remote teams, with adaptability to change.

Hands-on collaboration with development teams and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile best practices (e.g., DevOps, BDD, CI/CD).

Proficiency in measuring and improving team outcome metrics and expertise in Jira, including project and board administration.

PMP or SAFe SM certification (highly encouraged).

What you will be doing in this role

Drive your team/projects to deliver value, improve workflow, minimize bottlenecks, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.

Apply Agile/Lean principles to tailor practices that suit your team’s needs and style.

Establish and maintain clear prioritization, scoping, planning, and forecasting processes at both ticket and project levels, focusing on measurable outcomes.

Deliver timely, accurate, and data-driven reporting, ensuring stakeholders are informed and aligned.

Facilitate productive discussions, organize effective meetings, and support multidisciplinary and cross-team collaboration.

Foster a strong partnership between Tech and Product, serving as a trusted escalation point and resolving team issues.

Promote continuous improvement within your team, driving measurable progress on critical challenges and advocating for necessary changes beyond your projects.

Product you will be developing

You will be a part of the Delivery Team and potentially work with any of the Intellectual Property development teams.

About the Team
You will join the Delivery Management Team in Barcelona, collaborating closely with Intellectual Property development teams and other cross-functional groups. The team typically manages large-scale or medium-sized development teams, including newly formed or complex teams, as well as programs involving cross-team projects. As part of this dynamic environment, the team focuses on driving value delivery, improving workflows, and fostering collaboration to achieve measurable outcomes. With a strong foundation in Agile/Lean methodologies, technical practices, and metrics-driven improvements, the Delivery Team emphasizes continuous learning, efficient processes, and impactful results.

Hours of Work  

Full-time permanent position (40-hours per week), working on a hybrid model, going 2-3 times per week to our Barcelona office.
