We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Lead CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. Lead CT technologist are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment. Serve as role models and clinical resource for the staff. Respond in a timely manner to requests for information or follow-up with director/manager, physician, staff or patient issues. **What you will do in this role:** + Assure adequate staffing according to volume, flexing when necessary. + Coordinates daily technologist assignments.  + Assures that all exams are completed and put in take status. + Operates all department equipment safely and properly + Teaches and mentors radiology students + Implements proper exposure techniques and positioning. + Demonstrates knowledge of drugs, their actions, side effects and contraindications for administration. + Helps manages supplies in a cost-effective manner. **What qualifications you will need:** + Must be a graduate of an accredited 24-month Radiological Technology Program. + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current. + ARRT registered; CT Certification or acquired within 6 months + 1-3 years minimum CT Experience Parkridge Medical Center is a 270+ bed hospital.
