Lead Contracts Manager
Eaton Corporation’s Aerospace Group is currently seeking a Lead Contracts Manager . This position is Hybrid and must be located at one of the following locations: Beltsville, MD, Glenolden, PA, Rumford, RI, or Bethel, CT. The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. **What you’ll do:** **PRIMARY FUNCTION:** Eaton Corporation’s Aerospace Group has an opening for a Lead Contracts Manager in support of its Engine Solutions and Electrification (“ESE”) unit with approximately $500M in annual sales of ESE products globally in the aerospace industry. This role is responsible for leading contract management activity for both the commercial and defense aerospace markets, including commercial negotiation, review and negotiation of terms and conditions, contract lifecycle management, and change management. The role reports to the Business Unit Contracts Manager and serves as the lead for contracting with aerospace customers primarily for Eaton’s Beltsville, MD and East Providence, RI locations but can work across other FED locations as needed. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** + Provides independent analysis of business/contract issues to support decision making and flows the requirements of the contract to responsible departments as required. + Facilitates internal review of agreements and supports the commercial execution of contracts. Responsible for maintaining positive customer interactions, proactively ensuring contractual compliance and performance. + Partners with other functions (Sales, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Customer Service) by providing analysis of business/contractual issues to risk mitigation planning and execution. + Participates in regular business reviews for new and momentum business, including pricing, Statement of Work (SOW) verification, and terms and conditions verification. + Leads the negotiation of agreements and management/mitigation of significant claims and disputes to provide maximum benefit to the Division. + Builds & maintains customer relationships through effective communication, service standards and using Voice of the Customer to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded. + Ensures compliance with all Aerospace, Division, business unit processes and procedures, Federal Acquisition Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations, + Communicates status of on-going contractual matters to all levels of the organization. + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications:** • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution • Minimum of 7 years working with complex contracts with strong knowledge of contract terms (Required) • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
