Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Telecom Analyst – Telecom Circuit Provisioning, Billing management Regulatory
We are seeking a skilled Telecom Analyst with a focus on Telecom circuit provisioning, Telecom Billing Management, contract management and an understanding of regulations from the Indian Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and TRAI. The ideal candidate will manage Telecom Circuit provisioning, telecommunications contracts, ensure regulatory compliance, and support telecom-related business operations. This role is crucial for Day-to-day operations of Telecom, link provisioning compliance of Indian telecom regulations, optimizing contract terms, and mitigating risks.
Responsibilities
Contract Management:
Analyse contract terms and ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory compliance.
Monitor and track contract deliverables, timelines, and key milestones to maintain optimal service levels and contract performance.
Ensure adherence to agreed terms, resolve disputes, and coordinate with legal teams on complex issues.
Regulatory Compliance:
Maintain knowledge of regulations and guidelines issued by the Indian Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and other telecom regulatory bodies.
Ensure that all telecom operations and contracts comply with DoT regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams such as procurement, finance, legal, and IT to align telecom needs with budgetary, operational, and compliance requirements.
Liaise with telecom vendors and service providers to deliver the telecom links as per solutions and maintains day to day telecom circuit operations.
Provide stakeholders with regular updates on telecom link delivery, compliance matters, and telecom trends in the Indian market.
Cost Optimization and Risk Management:
Conduct cost analyses on telecom expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and more efficient telecom operations.
Proactively identify risks related to contracts and regulatory non-compliance and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
Recommend and implement improvements to processes for contract management and regulatory compliance.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of telecom link provisioning, contracts, vendor interactions, and compliance documentation.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting telecom performance, compliance status, and potential risks.
Document telecom policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with both company standards and Indian telecom regulations.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications with CCNA preferred
Experience in telecom link provisioning, telecom billing contract management and regulatory compliance, preferably within the Indian telecommunications industry.
Basic knowledge of the Indian Department of Telecommunications regulations, policies, and standards.
Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure, services, and vendor landscape in India.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional team
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Candidate should have good understanding of Telecom Technologies, IT Finance and Billing management.
Candidate should have written verbal English communications skills.
