Principal responsibilities

Establish and maintain the community of API and Cloud engineers across the platform teams.Lead (and govern the adoption of) the definition of the 'HSBC way' of engineering in API and Cloud domain.Helping with designing, maintaining and improving the CI/CD tools and build pipelinesCollaborate with technical leaders and product owners to contribute to product and project strategy, code standards, roadmap definition, and requirements gatheringCollaborate with the recruiting team and regional Heads of Engineering to attract, onboard and retain diverse top talentAdvocate and advance modern software development practices within the API and Cloud engineering communityParticipate in broader discussions about end to end software architectureGrow the technical expertise of the API and Cloud engineering communityWork closely with teams, product owners, agile coaches and other stakeholders to ensure we deliver world-class tools and capabilities for our API and Cloud communityActively participate in the API and Cloud Engineering Discipline and associated communities
