Lead Consultant, Smartsheet Developer

Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Smartsheet Developer
In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing, and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities
• Smartsheet Configuration Development:
o Develop, configure, and maintain Smartsheet templates, sheets, reports, and dashboards to optimize project and task tracking, collaboration, and reporting.
o Design workflows, forms, and automation rules (e.g., reminders, alerts, and approval processes) to streamline operations.
o Create custom functions and use Smartsheet’s API to enhance functionality and integrate with external systems.
• Data Integration Automation:
o Work with APIs, connectors, and third-party integration tools (e.g., Zapier, Workato) to connect Smartsheet with other applications (e.g., Salesforce, Jira, Slack, Microsoft Teams).
o Design and implement automated data pipelines and real-time data synchronization between Smartsheet and other business systems.
o Troubleshoot and optimize integrations to ensure seamless data flow and integrity.
• Reporting Dashboards:
o Build interactive and insightful reports and dashboards for various stakeholders to track KPIs, project progress, and business outcomes.
o Utilize Smartsheet’s reporting and charting features to generate real-time data visualizations that support data-driven decision-making.
• Collaboration Training:
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., project managers, IT, operations) to gather requirements and deliver tailored Smartsheet solutions.
o Train and support users on Smartsheet features and best practices, ensuring effective use of the platform across the organization.
• Performance Optimization:
o Monitor and assess the performance of Smartsheet configurations, identifying and addressing any issues related to data integrity, speed, or user experience.
o Recommend improvements and implement changes to enhance system performance and user satisfaction.
• Documentation Compliance:
o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Smartsheet configurations, processes, integrations, and automations.
o Ensure all solutions align with internal compliance and security policies.


Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
• BE/B Tech/MCA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Proven experience with Smartsheet, including advanced features such as workflows, reporting, dashboards, and integrations.
• Strong understanding of Smartsheet API and data integrations with third-party applications.
• Experience using tools like Zapier, Workato, or other automation platforms to create seamless workflows.
• Proficiency in working with project management concepts and methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective Smartsheet solutions.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet Control Center and Smartsheet DataBridge for advanced automation and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with non-technical stakeholders.
• Certification in Smartsheet’s platform or as a Smartsheet Solutions Architect.
• Experience with SQL and database query languages for advanced data manipulation.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana and their integration with Smartsheet.
• Knowledge of other business systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Power Automate, or Google Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
• Work from Genpact office at least twice a week
