Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, AEM Backend Developer
In this role, you will be responsible for crafting clean, functional code that flawlessly suits the needs of the company. Your main focus will be coding and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests. To support Engineer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution. Work with businesspeople to have a real time problem and craft the solution which really fits into client needs.
Responsibilities
• Develop features in AEM applications based on user stories and technical designs
• Contribute to requirements gathering and analysis activities such as user stories etc.
• To add custom workflows and email alerts.
• Create a front-end website (requiring a resource with HTML java script/CSS expertise):
o Document and metadata search capabilities (including expired document searches)
o File transfer from AEM to web service to the AskHR Virtual Agent GenAI solution
• Add enhancements to AEM authoring search to include custom metadata, workflows/emails
• Own and support feature-focused unit and system testing
• Support performance, security, and load testing activities,including issue remediation

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Experience with AEM back-end development
• Expertise in workflows for publishing, unpublishing and expiring documents
• Experience in Developing AEM process to send to web service to NFS folder
• Experience in transferring files from AEM platform to chatbot platform
• Design website, considering requirements for searching, filters, collections, indices, index auto refreshes
• Experience with server management in cloud ecosystems like Azure or AWS
• Expertise in workflows for publishing, unpublishing and expiring documents
• Experience in Developing AEM process to send to web service to NFS folder
• Experience in transferring files from AEM platform to chatbot platform
• Design website, considering requirements for searching, filters, collections, indices, index auto refreshes
• Relevant experience required in AEM
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and computer science foundations
• Foundational understanding of Java 11 , HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (i.e. React, Angular, Vue)
• Experience working with the Java Content Repository (JCR)
• Experience with Git and work tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
• Experience developing custom components, including leveraging and extending Adobe’s core components
• Understanding of the i18n dictionary and how AEM translations work
• Understanding of editable templates and template/component policies
• Hands-on experience building scalable web applications, in particular building high frequency and low latency web apps with optimal memory management, performance, and scalability as a key focus
• Experience in consulting and prior working experience with Project Management teams
• Thirst for knowledge and an abundance of curiosity.
