Position Summary
The Lead Commercial Process Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Reporting team’s objectives, with a focus on driving Commercial metrics, Commercial methodologies, and key initiatives. This role is also instrumental in implementing process improvements by actively participating in or leading cross-functional teams, conducting stakeholder interviews, and providing actionable recommendations to management. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Commercial Leadership Team, Business Units, IT, field personnel, and various internal departments. This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a strong analytical mindset, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and a keen interest in learning and supporting internal business reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Leads the implementation of consistent commercial methodologies based on persona, including analysis, forecasting, contract analysis, and financial model analysis. Collaborates with senior management and strategic business partners to drive standardization and support commercial methodology.
Leads the completion of monthly operational margin reporting for individual classes of trade (Brand) and prepares information for leaders to help the organization understand performance and aid in decision making.
Leads cross-functional teams in proactive identification and development and governance of coast-to-coast operational models, tools, and business processes.
Oversees, manages, and governs coast-to-coast Operational Margin assumptions, definitions, and guiding principles, proactively identify recommended changes and drive implementation of solutions and changes.
Leads development of communication and collaboration among stakeholders and leaders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables and utilizes change readiness principles and resources to execute and ensure adoption.
Leverages technical and analytical expertise to proactively analyze business processes, anticipate requirements, look for process improvements, and develop/implement solutions that create consistency and alignment across the organization.
Proactively identifies opportunities to redefine business processes and leads the maintenance and updating process of the documentation as needed.
Fosters a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and adherence to governance processes.
Owns the capability roadmap, with alignment to strategic initiatives and cross functional teams.
Manages data as a critical company asset through policies, practices, roles and responsibility to achieve commercial objectives.
Supports submission of metrics and analytics and works with the business to submit, report and consolidate key Commercial operating metrics for executive leadership review.
Leverages advanced Excel functionalities, including the development and optimization of Macros, to automate processes and enhance data efficiency for large-scale analysis and reporting. Designs and implements complex formulas (e.g., nested IF's, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH) to conduct in-depth data analysis, ensuring accurate insights and supporting data-driven decision-making.
Serves as needed on Commercial’s Business Recovery Team.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related discipline required or five (5) years of experience in lieu.
Seven (7) or more years of experience in business administration, project management, or related field required.
Experience supporting individual classes of trade will be given additional consideration.
Experience with financial reporting will be given additional consideration.
