Lead Commercial Loan Closing Representative

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking Lead Commercial Loan Closing Representatives as part of the Equipment Finance Deal Closing Team within Commercial Banking Operations. This team onboards customers for Key Vendor partners by obtaining contract packages from the sales team. This includes validating onboarding information entered into the system of record, verifying payment information, and issuing the wires to the Vendor Partner.

In this role, you will:

Support performance and overall effectiveness of team, as well as cross-group pre-close and post-close documents for the most complex commercial real estate loans

Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools within Commercial Loan Closing

Perform or guide others on complex business and operational decisions that require planning, evaluation, and interpretation

Review and prepare loan related documents

Independently prioritize work and provide day-to-day-work leadership and mentorship to Commercial Loan Closing team

Lead or contribute to implementation of new or revised processes and procedures that require coordination among various work groups

Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to peers, colleagues and managers on the functions, policies, procedures and compliance requirements


Required Qualifications:

6+ years of Commercial Loan Closing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

2+ years of Leadership experience

Knowledge and understanding of the Siebel Originations System

Familiarity with Documentation creation and/or documentation review and funding experience

Ability to interpret and understand of basic loan documents i.e., credit agreements, credit approval documents, security

Ability to interpret and understand legal documents including loan, insurance, and credit documents

Knowledge of key credit terms, such as interest rates, disbursements, loan limits, fees, etc.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to consult and maintain cross department relationships

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Advanced Microsoft Office skills


Job Expectations:

Ability to work a hybrid schedule

Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$20.29 - $30.48
