Lead Business and Financial Analyst

Lead Business and Financial Analyst will develop analytics that expand managerial insights across the Individual Markets business. Priorities include insights that are financially impactful or focus on how our customers interact with Guardian. Applied functional business area knowledge (e.g. finance, sales, operations, distribution and related data) will be essential to the effective development and interpretation of analysis.

Adept at rationalizing results and iterating with business leadership and subject-matter-experts to refine the interpretive value of your analysis.

Able to communicate highly nuanced topics to key partners in a clear and compelling fashion.

You will

Develop analysis in support of IM financial projections & results prepared for leadership.

Develop deeper insights into business and financial performance (eg rationalizing dashboard critical metric trends) across all areas of Individual Markets

Regularly collaborate with subject matter authorities across the business to apply knowledge necessary to build and interpret analytics.

Communicate insights with IM leaders and business area SMEs.

You have

Proven experience developing and presenting financial and business analytics.

Proven ability to build and rationalize a wide variety of analytical constructs.

Experience working across multiple business areas and/or lines of business (eg sales, operations, finance, life, disability), and knowledge of the concepts, processes, and datasets inherent to those environments

Experience using data tools (e.g., Excel/Tableau) and manipulating large, complex datasets.

Salary Range$82,660.00 - $135,805.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
