Lead Behavioral Health Technician

Summary:

Our Langhorne residential program provides gender-specific, individualized recovery services for adult men and women in Bucks County and surrounding areas. Our program also teaches women how to safely cope with physical, psychological and emotional trauma without the use of substances, empowering them to overcome feelings of victimization and move toward a life of wellness and personal growth. Men in our treatment program at Langhorne live on-site in a structured setting where they receive education, therapy and medical care to assist them in working through personal issues and ultimately overcoming their addiction. The Lead Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for BHT training, coordination of training schedules, and conducting BHT competency evaluations.

Pay Rate:

$15.50 per hour plus shift differential

Shift:

Tuesday-Saturday; 3:00pm-11:00pm

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with facility and regional leadership to identify training needs. Facilitate BHT onboarding trainings; other trainings as needed. Test and review onboarding and training materials. Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, materials and equipment. Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of trainee attendance, progress and achievements. Maintain a database of all training materials. Conduct employee surveys and interviews to measure training efficacy. Remain up to date on organizational policies and procedures; able to answer questions from trainees during sessions. Participates in work groups and gets involved in performance improvement of our organization. Conducts Competency evaluations for the Behavioral Health Technicians. Other duties as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications

Education, Licensure, & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent, Associate Degree Preferred. 1- 2 years experience in residential drug and alcohol treatment setting preferred.
