Lead Assembly Technician

As a Lead Assembly Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Aerospace (AERO) business unit in Kanata. You will lead a team of technicians and provide technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing processes and systems. Your leadership and technical skills will contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our business. You will report directly to our Manufacturing Manager and you'll work out of our Kanata location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on our AERO business unit by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and implement best practices. Your attention to detail and ability to solve complex problems will be instrumental in meeting production targets and delivering high-quality results.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a team of technicians and provide technical guidance and support.

Support the supervisor in daily operation and act as a backup when needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing processes
• Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to ensure the quality and efficiency of manufacturing processes
• Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices
• Meet production targets and deliver high-quality results




YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing Technician or a related role

\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nAbility to read and follow work instructions/ blueprints\nAbility to use common hand tools\nAvailable to work 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Friday.\n\n

\n\nMinimum of 1 years of experience leading a team of technicians\nExperience in coating processes within the manufacturing industry\nExperience with assembly of Analog and Digital Electronics at the circuit card level and at the system level\n\nProven multitasking abilities and strong analytical skills\nAbility to influence cross-functional support when needed\nCollaboration skills and the ability to work independently\nExcellent SAP skills and comprehension\n
