Your impact on the team As our Lead Application Support Engineer - Middleware, you will install, configure, and support middleware components and applications. This role involves collaborating with internal teams to gather and document requirements, managing software installations, and providing advanced troubleshooting support for various applications and systems. What can you expect from the position? Software Management: Manage software installations and packaging for both open-source and proprietary software, including RPMs, ensuring availability for Linux distributions. Middleware Management: Install, configure, and remediate middleware components, and perform initial configurations for application rebuilds in new operating systems and server environments. Application Support: Own and support internal custom applications related to redirects, images, and certificate requests. Provide level 2 and 3 support for microsite applications, WordPress, Jenkins, Oracle APEX, and other middleware components. Security Monitoring: Monitor application and infrastructure security, quickly address any intrusions by reversing unauthorized changes and fixing exploited vulnerabilities. Programming and Automation: Utilize moderate to advanced programming skills to automate tasks and streamline business processes. Technical Assistance: Troubleshoot and assist with Linux, applications, and related issues, and support colleagues with less expertise in these areas. What we are looking for ? Any Graduate with 5+ years of relevant experience PHP Expertise: Knowledgeable in RPM building, PHP module integration, and compatibility issues with MySQL. Architectural Design: Expertise in creating and implementing complex technical architectures. Middleware Experience: Proficient with technologies like Apache HTTPD, PHP, WordPress, MySQL, Apache Tomcat, Jenkins, and Oracle Apex. Programming Languages: Skilled in Python, C/C++, PHP, Perl, Bourne shell, and similar languages for automation. Regular Expressions: Capable of creating and using regular expressions for diverse applications. Apache HTTPD: Experienced in module development, custom redirects, and troubleshooting configurations. Certificate Management: Skilled in managing various certificate types and troubleshooting, with familiarity in Java KeyTool and formats like JKS and PEM. Additional Technologies: Willingness to learn tools like Imagemagick, JSON, OpenSSL, and WAMP. Disaster Recovery: Experienced in designing and supporting disaster recovery solutions for middleware applications.
