We believe that inclusion helps us thrive and grow at United across our collaborative Finance teams consisting of Financial Planning Analysis, Internal Audit, Treasury, Global Procurement, Controllership, Investor Relations and more. These teams provide the financial fuel that keeps our operation running from providing detailed analyses of financial planning, performance, and forecasts to managing our investments and financial strategies. Our Finance team plays an integral role in making our airline profitable and successful by meeting our financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility for delivering strategic analysis to reduce personnel spend, improve efficiency, and enhance operational and product support. Must possess the ability to develop and communicate analysis business proposals to all levels of Management. This position will have direct exposure to Senior Leadership, providing personnel and efficiency forecasts, communicating pivotal initiatives, and recommending solutions to reduce spending.

Apply and build models to forecast analyze personnel based on volume, flight schedule, and flight peak changes, anticipating changes in technology and business processes. Provide ad-hoc scenario analysis as required to ensure the creation of accurate budgets and forecasts. Support contract and purchasing initiatives. Support required personnel model improvements as a result of the Labor agreement.

Leads project efforts at United’s hub line locations to collaborate with leadership build out staff plans that are both operationally / financially sound. Builds analyzes personnel, FTE / headcount projections, variance reports, labor efficiency, operational performance metrics, and other management reports. Provides financial analyses, reports, and corporate presentations for use internally and externally Meeting participation and contribution to discussions on key regional division and finance issues, demonstrating a proactive approach and the ability to provide valuable insights. Collaborates efficiently with business leaders to develop action plans and excels as a storyteller of the analysis, articulating the details of the immediate project and its relevance within the broader company scope.Perform routine reporting (such as department statistical reporting on operations, agent performance, monthly headcount efficiency reporting and related variance)
