Lead Aircraft Structures Mechanics
**Job Responsibilities:** + Lead and perform regular maintenance on aircraft structural components, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with Airside MRO, Federal, and OSHA regulations. + Conduct thorough inspections and examinations of various structural components, identifying cracks, corrosion, defects, or wear, and taking corrective action as needed. + Consult maintenance manuals and specifications to ensure all repairs and replacements follow correct operational procedures and meet required safety and performance standards. + Supervise and perform the installation of new parts, ensuring that all replacements or repairs of structural components are done to specifications and improve performance. + Identify and resolve structural issues based on inspections or reports from Airside MRO customers, providing expert troubleshooting and guidance for corrective actions. + Document and manage all records related to inspections, repairs, and reassembly of structural components, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal audits. + Perform additional duties as assigned, supporting the overall maintenance operation and enhancing team performance. **Qualifications:** + Aircraft maintenance experience, 5 years minimum + MRO or 145 experience required + In-depth knowledge of aircraft structural components, systems, and parts, with the ability to lead inspections, maintenance, and repairs for optimal performance. + Comprehensive understanding of tools and testing methods used to ensure the functionality and integrity of structural components. + Expert ability to interpret technical documentation, including Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), drawings, and specifications, to guide accurate repairs and replacements. **Shifts:** + Monday-Friday 7:00AM-4:00PM OR 8:00AM-5:00PM **Pay:** + $34-$42 **What's in it for you:** + Fully air conditioned building + Eligible for employee benefits on the first of the month following the date of hire + 100% paid Medical/Dental/Vision for Base or Option 1 plans + HSA + Life and Short-Term Disability Insurance + Ancillary Benefits + 401k + PTO and Holiday pay **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
